Repealed Laws: HB 2487 (blocked) enforces stricter abortion reporting requirements and requires a doctor who performs non-surgical abortions to be licensed annually by the Department of Health Services (January 2012).

NY state allows individual providers and institutions to refuse to participate in performing abortions if they wish. NY State does not allow providers/institutions to refuse contraception or sterilization to patients.

Miss. Code Ann. § 41-79-5: 1989. The Mississippi Children's Fun, created in 1989 to provide financial aid to prevent child abuse and neglect, cannot be used to fund abortion services.
