HB 2564 Parental consent for minors, informed consent with a 24 hours waiting period, prohibits physicians assistants from providing abortions, allows medical employees or institutions and pharmacies to refuse to admit a patient seeking an abortion on moral or religious grounds. This also includes providing emergency contraception or any medication to prevent fertilization (February 2009)
